Brinda Upadhyaya is a retired Senior Lecturer of History at a prestigious college in Mumbai. Her academic journey is complemented by freelance journalism and decades-long dedication to running ASHA (Association for Service and Healing of Animals), an NGO committed to animal welfare. Alongside her husband Ajay Upadhyaya, she established the Upadhyaya Foundation in 2022, to continue and advance her philanthropic endeavors. Brinda’s unwavering commitment to service extends to animal welfare, and aiding individuals with disabilities.
