Disability Inclusion

Assistance

We believe that people of all abilities must have equal opportunities to participate fully in society—in education, employment, culture, and community life.

Disabilities can be both visible and invisible, yet structural barriers, lack of awareness, and insufficient resources often prevent individuals from reaching their full potential. In India, the government officially recognizes 21 types of disabilities, yet services remain fragmented and accessibility remains an afterthought in most public spaces and institutions. For instance, while some specialized schools exist for individuals who are blind or deaf, there is a dearth of English-medium schools for these groups, significantly limiting their social mobility and professional opportunities. We recognize that technology can be a powerful enabler in bridging accessibility gaps, from assistive devices to digital learning tools. Moreover, full participation extends beyond employment and education—it includes social interactions, self-expression, and holistic wellbeing, areas that are often neglected in policy and funding.
