Gaurav Mehta

As a multi-disciplinary professional, Gaurav brings a range of cross-sectoral experiences across Pharmaceuticals, Insurance, and Public Health. A 'generalist by choice and attitude', he is committed to solving for productive enhancements in processes, specializing in the scaling and deployment of interventions across the spectrum of institutional capacity.

Previously, He has served as an India Fellow, where he supported community implementation trials in early childhood development & maternal health and initiated discussions for infusing life skills in curricula within rural and tribal blocks of Vidarbha’s aspirational districts. Through constant interactions with frontline functionaries, caregivers and government systems, he has worked for contextual refinement of these programmes while building his skills in qualitative data research and bottom-up monitoring & evaluation approaches. His background also includes a corporate stint delivering risk engineering and loss mitigation services for a wide variety of industrial clients, ranging from MSMEs and start-ups to diversified business houses operating pan-India.

With a Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences, he has interned with big pharma during his graduation.Outside of his professional focus, Gaurav is an avid trekker and adventure enthusiast who finds inspiration in exploring new landscapes. Otherwise, you will find him quietly contemplating on the development of enterprising models and initiatives of value addition to the society, leveraging the  power of participatory action.
